The Country Acres Center employs a developmentally appropriate and culturally rich curriculum throughout the day along with effective care-giving approaches to provide the children with a high quality childcare experience. We welcome children with all ability levels into our daycare program. Training of staff and parents happens regularly on cultural diversity typical child development and developmental disabilities so our staff is comfortable and accepting of all our children and their families enrolled in our programs.
The language based curriculum addresses all areas of a child’s cognitive social and emotional development. The curriculum and the space provide the children with age appropriate hands-on activities and a variety of materials to explore and investigate. Developmentally appropriate play is fostered through careful arrangement of materials and furnishings. Country Acres Center programs promote positive relationships between staff children and their family members.
