Capital District YMCA at Paige Elementary

Staff parents and community volunteers work collaboratively to create a high quality educational experience for our students. We strive to be a community of learners. We are a public school and hold to the fundamental belief that every human being is important and is to be treated respectfully. The core of our program is Language Arts – - thinking listening speaking reading and writing. Along with sequential instruction in phonics children are constantly engaged in reading quality literature. Parents are encouraged to read aloud daily at home. Our students are taught a writing process which allows them to exercise all of the language arts and permits them to publish and share their work. This facility is authorized to administer medications
