Jewish Community Center of Schenectady

We offer flexible wrap-around childcare services from early drop-off at 7:00 a.m. and after care until 6:00 p.m. You may use as few or many hours as you need. Full time day care is available during school vacations and prior to and following summer day camp.

The Early Childhood Program at the Schenectady Jewish Com-munity Center provides quality child care for a variety of age and developmental levels. It is our belief that each child should be given the freedom to develop at his/her own rate. All of our programs are designed to help each child:
Develop positive self-esteem
Learn and practice appropriate cognitive physical and social-emotional skills
Develop literacy and math readiness
Select activities according to own interests including computer use
Enjoy creative projects
Learn to work cooperatively
