Schroon Lake Central School is a rural public school in the Adirondack Mountains. It has been serving the community since 1936 when local common schools formed a centralized district and funding from the Depression Era “Works Progress Administration” (WPA) put local men to work constructing our building. This facility is authorized to administer over-the-counter topical ointments only
