Scottsdale Academy’s goal is for each child to be an independent, lifelong learner and view learning as an exciting and never-ending aspect of life. The Academy believes in high expectations and success for each child.
We offer quality education with a developmentally appropriate curriculum through hands on activities. Each student is engaged in reading, math, art, ballet, computers, Spanish, piano, creative dance, sign language and music. A variety of instructional means such as whole group, small group, one-on-one, and creative centers are utilized.
The Academy was created with the vision of fostering creativity and divergent thinking for the young child’s mind through musical and artistic expression.
The Academy provides an equal and non-threatening environment where each child feels free to learn, ask questions and grow as a human being. This is a place where a child’s self-esteem is bolstered so he/she is ready and eager to learn.

Every child is exposed to meaningful activities through creativity and imagination. These activities are adapted to a variety of learning styles. 3. Parents : Scottsdale Academy believes that parents play a critical role in the success of young children. Parents are to be involved and supportive in their child’s school activities. We believe in a healthy home-school communication. This gives parents an active role in helping their child succeed. Scottsdale Academy has an open door policy with parents. Parents are encouraged to visit, volunteer, and confer with their child’s teacher.
