In April of 2009, Kidpower inc. was selected by a parent/teacher committee at Kemp Mill Elementary to provide before and after school day care to the students of the Kemp Mill Elementary Community. We believe that the overall experience a child has in a day care is centered in the atmosphere that the staff sets for the program. The staff is not there just to keep children from using bad language and hurting themselves, but also to provide gentle guidance and serve as examples and role models for kids. At Kidpower, our staff strives to create not only an atmosphere of safety and structure, but one of fun, trust, and comfort. Ultimately, it is a childs sense of comfort that enables him or her to open up and have a great time.
