We create a safe and enjoyable environment for all children. Clear limits are set and re-direction will be used to help children find appropriate alternatives to disruptive behavior. We listen to and talk with children in a meaningful and respectful way. We guide children through problem solving steps as needed. We take a proactive approach to classroom management by anticipating potential conflicts and modifying the environment rather than only responding to to a negative situation.
