Stanford Arboretum Children's Center - CLOSED

Stanford Arboretum Children’s Center offers a stimulating and caring environment designed to promote social, emotional, cognitive and physical development. We provide a variety of learning experiences that encourage a positive self-image and joy in the learning process. Our highly trained and educated staff establish an environment that is clean, fun, creative and most importantly, “child-centered”. Our program focuses on a proprietary play-based curriculum, Guided Discovery, which incorporates the best practices of every child development philosophy. We feel an open line of communication between our parents and teachers is the most effective way to build strong relationships. Our teachers guide, assist and observe children throughout the day, involving themselves at the child’s level and helping them discover answers to questions and new ideas. Parents are free to visit their child’s classroom at any time for lunch, story time, to share a family tradition, or just to observe their child.
