First Baptist Weekday School

First Baptist Christian Daycare has been a part of Suffolk since 1965; and in 2002 we were awarded the Reader’s Choice Award sponsored by The Pilot newspaper. We are here to provide a loving, caring Christian atmosphere for children of parents who must work outside the home.

Our daycare serves children from six weeks old through age four. Part-time classes are available for the four year olds on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday or Tuesday & Thursday.

Throughout each day, the children are involved in many learning activities. Some of the activities include learning numbers, the alphabet, shapes, colors, etc. In addition, singing and playing are a very important part of every child’s daily experience. Children learn Bible stories and even memorize Bible verses. Snacks and meal times become learning experiences where children learn to be thankful for what God has given them.

The Virginia Department of Social Services licenses our daycare, and we fervently strive to make our daycare the best around. We strive each and every day to make the environment here friendly, loving, and safe.
