Ascension Lutheran School was established in 1963 by Ascension Lutheran Church to serve the congregation and as an outreach to the community. The educational and co-curricular programs strive to foster intellectual, spiritual, emotional, physical and social development.
Recognizing that education is a life long process of formal and informal experiences with the home, school and church, Ascension seeks to collaborate with parents to fully develop each child’s potential in a loving, nurturing environment. We believe maximum learning occurs when home and school work together to mutually support and reinforce Christian values.
A key to quality education is a well-qualified, dynamic staff. Teachers at Ascension Lutheran School maintain appropriate credentials and certification in their teaching field, and evidence a lifestyle that reflects a dynamic, growing relationship with Christ. The staff of Ascension School lead their classes in a spirit of love and discipline, while setting a strong Christian example.
