Mariam Boyd Afterschool Program

Quality care programs offer school-age children healthy social and educational experiences led by trained staff in a safe environment. Here at Mariam Boyd Elementary School, we have structured academic and enrichment activities taking place daily from the time school dismisses until 6:00 p.m.
Our coordinator, Carolyn Cooper and assistant Deatrice Johnson, strive to make everyday a pleasurable learning experience for children enrolled in the afterschool program. Both women are first aid/CPR certified and have attended numerous training workshops in the field of childcare.

Our number one goal is to ensure the safety and the well-being of your children. Enrollment in the afterschool program is open to any student in grades K-5 at Mariam Boyd. There are policy outlines and procedures that must be covered for all children who enter the program. There are also charges for students attending the program.
