North Kern Christian School is a ministry of the Mennonite Brethren Church of Wasco which is a ministry division of the Mennonite Brethren Church of Shafter. The mission of the Mennonite Brethren Church of Wasco is: worshiping and glorifying God; rejoicing in the love of our Savior Jesus Christ; helping people find Christ and making them His disciples. NKCS is a nondenominational school and is open to all who want a Christian environment and Christ honoring staff and curriculum for their school age children.
