Testimonials
After visiting a series of different child care centers in the DC Metro Area (and a negative experience at one), my husband, child, and I all felt comfortable the moment we walked through the doors of Lalelo. The director is sensitive to our needs and accommodating, the instructors are knowledgeable and patient with the children, and it is obvious everyone who works there put the children first. They also provide opportunities for the parents to really get involved with the children. We have all loved our time there.
La Le Lo is a loving and caring daycare. Given its smaller size, each infant gets lots of attention and the caregivers know all the children really well. Our older son went to larger daycare center, which switched staff on a regular basis and they seemed to barely know the children's names.
We've been with Lalelo since our oldest was six months old. He's now 2 and 1/2, and our youngest recently joined the Lalelo community when she was six months old as well. The Lalelo staff treat our children likely family - and we can't ask much more than for the love and engagement they provide while we can't be around.
I found Lalelo through a co-worker a few months before my daughter was born late Spring of 2014. Like many new moms I was apprehensive about returning to work amd leaving my child in the care of people I didn't know. When I visited Lalelo with the baby I felt welcomed and loved the look and feel of the center. That didn't change the fact that I had to leave my baby for the first time. When I dropped her off the next week I started crying and the staff were so kind. They sat me down in a rocking chair and told me I could stay as long as I wanted to. I stayed for about twenty minutes and decided it was time to transition. They sent me pictures of her several times during the day looking happy and this made a huge difference. My daughter stayed there for three years. She learned so much that she surpassed the expectaions of her preschool teacher. She still goes to Lalelo for drop in care when school is closed. They are a part of our family! If you are looking for dedicated, Hard-working professionals that will teach your child in all kinds of creative ways amd most importantly love them, Lalelo is the place!
We just started a few weeks ago at LaLeLo and I can't say enough positive things about the changes I have seen in my daughter in the past 2 weeks. After leaving a larger, commercial daycare where we felt like our baby girl was not getting enough love and attention, LaLeLo was the perfect fit for our family. The teachers truly love being child care providers and really focus on and care for each child. They go on weekly field trips, take walks, do regular circle time for the infants and really focus on the developmental stage of each child. They are also extremely open to new activities and parent input and involvement. They also provide extended care, after school, weekend and overnight care. I would absolutely recommend LaLeLo to any families who are looking for a safe, loving, individualized environment for their infant or toddler.
Very personalized care. Committed and living staff.
Our daughter went to LaLeLo from 4 - 9 months (then we moved out of state) and AGAIN when we returned when she was 2.5 years. The Walkers are the sweetest family and will treat your kids like their own! It's actually pretty structured for an in-home daycare -- the kids do circle time and learn songs and ABCs and manners and even brush their teeth! We love LaLeLO! :)
We have been part of the La Le Lo family since 2014 when our daughter started their. Our son is now in their loving care. They really do make you feel like you are a part of their family. Our children feel deeply loved by the staff and we feel supported as parents. They are very communicative. They are creative. And they are always challenging themselves to do better. I couldn't recommend La Le Lo enough!
My little ones home away from home ???? Such a loving and caring environment. The staff was a joy to work with and they all have a true passion for working with children. Educational and milestone development is also priority and my little one thrived while attending LaLeLo. From the Director to the staff, my experience was superior.
Trina and her team have basically helped raise our daughter. By the age of two, Adeline knew the alphabet and could identify all the letters, could count to 20, knew the continents, the planets, all her colors, and I can't even remember what else. They also helped potty train her, and just generally are incredibly helpful. Adeline loved her teacher, Tiffany, and is basically lifelong friends with the other kids in the class. Our 9 month old son is now at La Le Lo and he loves it too; they're super invested in him and he claps every morning when we drop him off and is all smiles when he sees his people.
Trina and her team took care of my first child from 10 weeks on. They were so loving and caring and helped ease my anxiety for going back to work. They helped me navigate the first year of parenthood (ie. starting solids, nap routines, etc). La Le Lo was a great decision for my family!
Feels like family is watching her.
Trina strives to make this place a home away from home and she really accomplishes that. We have been sending our daughter there for the past 4 months and she started at 2 months old. I feel very comfortable that she is well taken care off and even more so, loved, while she is there. Great organization and I love that Trina is very receptive for any type of feedback.
My daughter has been at La Le Lo since she was 12 weeks old and we definitely feel as if it is her home away from home. We appreciate the care and love she receives and it's amazing to see her development over the past year and a half.
