Center in Westminster, MD 21157
The Child Development Center is open to the children of students, faculty, staff and the community. We serve children between the ages two-and-one-half to five.
Teachers stress the importance of exploration and play while integrating math, science, language, literacy, music, art and essential motor activities. Emphasis is placed on each child’s learning style by an active, hands-on process that builds problem-solving and thinking skills.
The center also serves as a place for professionals to observe young children and refine their education skills. College and community research by students, families, psychologists, early childhood education departments, and other professionals is a priority. Opportunities abound for observation, discussion and assessment.
