This is a state licensed home with two staff members. We are licensed for 12 children. We are also affiliated with Step up to Quality Ohio’s program for rating childcare businesses. We are rated with 3 stars and we are currently working on our next star. This means lower child/staff ratios and also means higher than the State of Ohio standards require. Program is also part of Children’s Hunger Alliance we are on their registry for childcare.We are also part of 4c’s for Children Registry. Our program collaborates with SUTQ Coaches to help our program continue to meet the requirements for additional stars for a quality program. We also provide age appropriate practices through the early learning content standards.

I also have another Associate of Applied Science Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education from Cincinnati State. Staff has Child Development trainings. CPR- First Aid - Communiable Disease - Child Abuse.Staff is also working on Associate Of Applied Science Degree. We are consistent with all state rules on training and certifications.

We use creative curriculum for our lesson planning. We believe that children learn through play. There are different experiences our children experience throughout the day. We believe in the theorist Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs Pyramid… meaning that children learn best when their basic needs are met.
