While no two days are exactly alike at Little Eagles Daycare, here is an outline of a typical day’s activities:

Circle time and sharing until breakfast
8:00 – 8:30…..Breakfast…most of the time this doesn’t last a whole 1/2 hour…
8:30 – 10:00…..Diaper changing/bathroom time, indoor/outdoor play, arts/crafts, etc…
10:00 – 10:30…..Snack…again…this doesn’t last for 1/2 hour
10:30 – 12:00…..Diaper changing/bathroom time, indoor/outdoor play, walk, etc…
12:00 – 12:30…..Lunch
12:30 – 3:00…..Cleaning children up, setting up beds for naps, changing diapers and bathroom time, and then naptime. Not all children are the same and go right to sleep, some need to be comforted while others just sleep. We try to get them all on a schedule so that we can clean-up, eat and take a little break ourselves (if at all possible).
3:00 – 5:00….Diaper changing/bathroom time, snack, outdoor/indoor play

Everyone knows that with children you have to be very patient and loving in order to train/teach them and with every activity we are involved with throughout our days spent together you have to be just that. As all of you know, children have a wide variety of personalities and likes and dislikes. There are no two alike (believe us) and no matter how you want your day to go, the day will go according to the children not us, so as providers of your children and parents of your children, we will have to work together for the benefit of your children.

We have taken care of children with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, and my husband has a brother with Down Syndrome. Also children that needed other care for asthma and heart problems.
