I believe that each child is unique and special. I believe that children have their own needs and learning style. I believe that each child grows and learns at their own pace. I will form a partnership with you, the parents, and your child to work with you, the parents, to learn what you want for your child. I will work to help meet those very personal goals. I will create an environment that is warm, safe, loving, and fun to be in each day. During each day, I will model and teach your child manners such as please, thank you, may I, etc… I will try to develop the value of respect; respect for adults, respect for other children, and respect for property. Each child’s week will include activities that promote social, emotional, physical, sensory motor, and cognitive development through large and small motor activities, quiet and active times, and group and individual experiences. Children learn through play – they grow socially, they grow emotionally, and their creativity develops as does a child’s intelligent. We will play, play, and play, having fun each and every day.
