Milestones Preschool and Family Home Childcare

I am a home preschool provider located in East Tucson with over 15 years experience working with children. I use the High Scope preschool curriculum, which was developed through decades of extensive research. My philosophy is to go beyond teaching children ABC’s and 123’s to promote the other essential aspects of a preschooler’s development, such as independence, curiosity, decision-making, cooperation, persistence, creativity, and problem-solving. In contrast to the larger classroom settings you find at many of the preschool institutions, I offer a small class size that lets me get to know each of my students well. For children who are shy or easily overwhelmed by chaotic social situations, a nurturing home preschool environment can make the bridge from home to school much easier to cross.
