CAPC of Jefferson County - South Jefferson Headstart

Head Start is a federally funded comprehensive preschool program designed for children ages 3 and 4 whose families meet federal income requirements in Jefferson County. Children in high risk environments or with special needs may be eligible regardless of income.

Head Start provides at no cost to families:

Transportation for most families
Family Service Meals
Integrated services for children with special needs
Kindergarten transition services
Academic and full-year services
Full day services in Watertown for children of working parents
