Albany Children's Center

The preschool program serves 120 children. We have three different components to our preschool to help serve all families. We have opportunities for families who qualify under Head Start low income/subsidized and full cost care. At the preschool we are child centered play based and use creative curriculum as our guide. We work on the social and emotional development of the child along with cognitive physical/fine motor and language development. The children are immersed in books music dance and circle time. They do puzzles and art activities to help develop all levels of the whole child. We have a large oudoor play area where children can run jump climb and ride bikes. The preschool has two snacks per day and we also serve a hot family style lunch (such as spaghetti or teriyaki chicken) made fresh daily from our wonderful in-house kitchen.
