Little Prairie Preschool

Little Prairie Preschool was started in 1983. It is State Licensed by the Department of Children and Family services. We offer a relaxed and casual setting geared toward the needs and interest of each child who is a part of our school. We take in consideration individual differences and special abilities. The school is open to all children regardless of race, nationality or creed who might benefit from our school program. A child must be three or four years of age by September 1 to enroll. Preschool gives children their first experience to a classroom setting and getting a child ready for kindergarten. We start the each day with a bible story and song and teach our children that Jesus loves and cares for them. We teach the alphabet, numbers, shapes and colors along with a theme for each week. We also offer children Gross Motor and Fine Motor activities, Circle time, Art activities, Music, Dramatic and Block play and story time. I want children to come and have a time to grow, room to explore, to experiment, to discover and time to be a child.
