Alpena Childcare and Development Center (formerly known as Alpena Youth Center) offers daycare programs for children ages two weeks to twelve years. Our programs focus on age-appropriate play and learning opportunities. All children are involved in our educational and fun activities including music art storytelling and recreation.

The Alpena Childcare and Development Center serves children between the ages of 2 weeks and 12 years. We are committed to the whole child as well as the family unit. Through our discovery centers classes special events and projects we are committed to providing a safe nurturing creative and fun atmosphere. As adults who look to the next generation and beyond our challenge is to support the childrens self-esteem and self-discipline to teach children to resolve conflicts peaceably and to encourage cooperation.
We realize and respect that each child is an individual with special interests needs and backgrounds. Our programming is anti-bias which includes children from all area schools and all areas of life.
