Little Pioneers is where children get the optimal hands on learning experience with small class size and more one on one attention. Children are introduced to letters numbers shapes art music movement and gardening just to name a few. Our goal is for all children to enter school with great social skills and confidence. We opened in March of 1997 and have enjoyed being a big part of the Alpine Community.

Little Pioneers Preschool philosophy on early childhood education is to nourish the growth of children by helping them develop their natural potential. We want to encourage children to love learning to feel good about themselves and to regard school as a rewarding positive experience. Our teachers are caring enjoy children and teaching. We feel that health and safety is one of our top priorities. We encourage play and feel is it a developmentally appropriate process for learning because children engage in it spontaneously. Play facilitates the development of children in all areas physical social emotional cognitive language and creative development. As teachers we feel we are also behavior models. The way we communicate solve problems and relate to others form a powerful model on how children will behave. As we all know children tend to do as adults do regardless of what adults say. Overall we believe children need to feel loved nurtured respected and safe. In return we feel they will care for others those who are like themselves those who are different and those who are in need.
