Our curriculum is tied to the Primary Schools curriculum to best accomidate the transition process. Our multi age classes promote a variety of learning styles and capabilities. Happy Valley Children’s Center is a curriculum based preschool, located on a Primary School campus. The preschool curriculum is an extention of what the district teaches. The main focus of the preschool is to help transition into the adjoining campus. The Pre-Kindergarten children spend months visiting the adjoining kindergarten. They have opportunities to shadow kindergarteners for music class, recess, lunch, class time and more! The transition for these kids from preschool to kindergarten is seamless and as a result, the success rate for these kids is very high!
