I hope everyone had a joyful and restful holiday vacation. We have had a nice break and are fast approaching the end of our first semester.

As our students return we will begin the most critical learning period of the school year. January through March students will be very focused on state standards so they are prepared for testing in March and April. There should be focused training and practice for students to do well. We try to bring importance to the assessments but also design classroom and school activities that make it fun and not too stressful for our students. We work as a team to help prepare all students for assessments. It is crucial that your child be in school and on time to acquire necessary skills. However as we enter flu season please keep your child home if he/she has a fever and seek medical attention. Your support at home will also help bring about good results in our student performance.
