Our focus is always on developing innovative activities and creative environments that foster children’s development. Small group activities, circle times, visual displays, learning materials available—all reflect the current interests of the children (which might range from dinosaurs to outer space, from Native American foods to fairy tales, from houses and buildings to insect life). Moreover, children are invited to acquire skills and develop concepts through a variety of modes of learning—art, crafts verbalization, and so on.

For all our programs we post daily activity charts for the week, which are posted on the parents bulletin boards. We may, however, make changes, depending on where the children are developmentally and what their expressed interests appear to be.

Childhood is a magical time in a person’s life, one when amazing physical, emotional, cognitive, and social changes take place. We, the staff of the Children’s Centers, feel privileged to share in this precious period in children’s lives. We are committed to helping children be happy and productive in all aspects of their lives while they are growing with us, and we believe that open and frequent communication among staff, parents, and children fosters a sense of community conducive to learning and the nurturing of self-esteem for everyone.
