Hapenny Montessori School

Ha’penny Montessori School offers part time and full time programs. All of our programs have mixed age groups. This is one of the reason that makes a Montessori classroom a successful learning place. The younger children learn from the older children and the older children mentor the younger children. The older children also learn patience, tolerance and how to be good role models.

The Montessori morning is a very important time where the children get one on one time with the teacher and are presented new lessons. This time allows the children to practice and master lessons already presented. We try not to interrupt this time for the children and teachers. We do, however, believe in the importance of learning a second language and getting exerci se so we do offer Spanish 4 days a week and Zumba dancing on Fridays.
