The purpose of our Child Development Center is to provide quality care, early education and Christian nuturing for the children of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and to provide the same services for other children in the community as if they were our own. Part of our Mission Statement is “Letting the little children come unto Him”.

The Child Development Center reflects and supports the mission of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, “Proclaiming Christ’s Abundant Love”, throughout its Christian education orientation and through a valuable and needed community service.

St. Mark’s Child Development Center is a learning center which strives to foster optimum growth and development. We believe that young children need a nurturing, physically safe environment of Christian love and acceptance in order to grow in all dimensions of their lives.

Established to meet the need for quality preschool education in this growing community, our goal is to provide for children from all socioeconomic backgrounds and ability levels. It is also to help children become healthy, thoughtful, responsible and spiritual people as they grow into adulthood. We believe that the development of a positive, realistic self-image is important.

The Center uses a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, Christian curriculum and establishes a non-violent environment.

We consider the entire family to be important. We offer parent involvement through classroom volunteering and special family events, programs and fundraisers.

St. Mark’s Child Development Center admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to sutdents at the school.
