The partially wooded property features nature trails, rolling hills, fenced pasture, manicured lawns, and a children’s garden. The setting is in itself an exceptional learning resource.

The original schoolhouse is a pitched roof storybook preschool.

The supporting outbuildings include an additional western style schoolhouse, an indoor swimming pool, a covered equestrian riding facility and a country style barn with a built-in theatre. The classrooms include an art studio, two fully equipped Montessori classrooms and a toddler classroom.

The integration of outdoor spaces into the total atmosphere of Hazel Creek sets it apart. Hazel Creek maintains certified Montessori instructors, professional lifeguards and riding instructors along with specialists in the arts and sciences. Hazel Creek is a certified Montessori preschool licensed by the state of Washington for before and after care.
