The Bryn Mawr Little School is a coeducational, child-care and preschool program that provides a nurturing learning environment for infants and young children. The Little School fosters a sense of community among families and children and supports parents roles at home and in their careers. The Little School encourages creative expression and a sense of discovery for each child. Children work and play together with friends of all ages and are challenged to construct knowledge and understanding as they explore their world. Our goal at Bryn Mawr Little School is to provide a supportive learning environment based on each child’s unique needs and to lead each child along a path of self-discovery.

Bryn Mawr Little School faculty subscribes to the principles and guidelines of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). The faculty is encouraged and supported in their pursuit of professional development in order to ensure the highest standards of early childhood practice. Viewing the world as one of opportunity and possibilities, teachers at the Little School open the doors to learning by preparing an environment that supports exploration and discovery as the building blocks of knowledge.
