Battle Creek Christian Daycare is designed to meet the developmental needs of children to age 12. It provides experiences that enrich and enhance each child’s cognitive language social emotional physical and creative development. We use Christian principles to guide our daily activities. Within the Center’s daily schedule each child has the opportunity to create explore and problem-solve using hands-on experiences. They also develop personal interaction skills based on Christian principles.
Children develop positive self-concept through a balance of self- and teacher-directed activities. Opportunities for solitary play as well as group activities are provided. Staff serve as positive role models and provide care that is supportive warm nurturing and responsive to each child’s individual needs.
We respect families as the primary and most important providers of care and nurturing. We believe parents and teachers are partners in children’s care and education.
