Medina Academy

Medina Academy has been in operation for 11 Years and has continued to grow as an Islamic Institution is the Eastside of the Seattle Area. Medina Academy was started by a small group of local community members dedicated to building a strong Islamic educational foundation as our community continues to grow in the Northwest.

Growth

Started as a small preschool, we have continued to grow into a fully accredited Washington state Elementary school currently located @ the Old Redmond School House and a Washington State Certified Preschool at our Bellevue location where we plan to build out our permanent location.

Islamic Environment

With and Islamic foundations, the educational experience provided to the students of Medina Academy helps prepare them as our future leaders with a strong background in Quran, Islamic Studies and the Arabic Language.

Quality Education

Following the guidelines of the State of Washington and the Lake Washington School district, Medina Academy continued to stay on par of above area schools and school districts in the Math, Writing, English and Science areas and has continued to do so when measured via standardized WASL testing.

Sunday School

In operation for almost as many years, the Sunday school is a purely volunteer driven program that provides a weekly Islamic educational program for over 100 additional families in the area. This multiple level program has continued to grow over the years and is at record enrollment for this school year.

Activities

In addition to the regular school activities, Medina Academy holds Islamic Quiz and Quran Contests for our students as well as other area students. We also hold Basketball and Soccer programs for area youth as well as Eid celebrations.

Reasonable Fees

As a private school, Medina Academy has the lowest rates when compared to any area private school to help ensure the Islamic educational experience is open to all in our community. Medina Academy prides its self on providing a strong educational background to the entire community and continue to provide tuition assistance to many families who are unable to pay.
