The program recognizes that children learn at various rates and will develop when ready. Therefore the curriculum provides independent self-directed and challenging activities in addition to group experiences. Through these activities we cultivate the natural curiosity and creativity of each child. A balance between spontaneity and structure is essential as the young child develops knowledge and comprehension of his world. Language development is of primary importance in cognitive development.
