Children's Aid Society CS 61 / I.S. 190

The Childrens Aid Society began its partnership with C.S. 61 in spring 2002. Soon after this K-8 school was divided into two schools: C.S. 61 serving grades PreK-5 and I.S. 190 The School of Environmental Science Mathematics and Technology serving grades 6-8.

Comprehensive health services are provided through linking the campus to the nearby Children’s Aid Bronx Family Center which offers services to the entire community. The school also provides Summer Saturday Holiday and After School programs; as well as Youth Council Preventive Services Parent Involvement and Adult Programs such as parenting vocational advocacy ESL GED Computer Training and leadership. This facility is authorized to administer over-the-counter topical ointments only
