Gold Material Montessori School is an independent private school located in the heart of Brooklyn. Founded in 2004 and initially offered short classes to the children who needed special help or were falling behind the children of the same age group. Then in 2006 we relocated and built a new spacious school at 105 Kings Highway.

In our school we carry out the classes by using the classical Montessori system that being rationally complimented by the method of developmental games. Serious attention is places on development and correction of foundation learning skills such as: intellect; attention; speech; thinking; memory; logic; math; hand development and preparation for writing; reading; cosmic education; self-service skills; small motor skills developments; creative skills; motivation for learning.

Our children are engaged in the enormously important work of developing an orderly mind a skillful hand and body a sense of self-confidence and self-esteem thereby laying the foundation for a healthy and constructive social life.

This great task of self construction is accomplished by the child through his own activity within the world around him. at Gold Material the child is provided with a developmental environment that is carefully prepared to meet his physical social emotional intellectual needs.

At Gold Material Montessori School each child is being educated by program that was individually created specifically for him/her. These programs are constantly reviewed by the staff and our teachers make corrections based on the success and the results that the children show.

Here at School your child is educating himself with the help of specially developed Montessori equipment. These Montessori materials are very attractive easy to use and suit well age peculiarity of the child. The opportunity of self-control allows the child to see his own errors. In this situation an adult do not have to point at the mistakes made and the self esteem of the child is not harmed.

Your child has many opportunities for self realization and chances to feel achievement because he/she can choose the tasks and the speed that suit him simply because in Montessori class there is no place for competitions. Montessori class is the place where your child is free from the adults domination where he can discover his own world and develop his mind.
