Kids Orbit at PS 9

The P.S.9 PTA After School Enrichment Academy Program is a parent developed program providing low cost service to families who need care beyond the regular school day. Our goal is to give our students an opportunity to learn a craft develop a talent or enjoy a hobby in the safe nurturing environment of our P.S.9 community.

We offer classes of varied interests for grades Pre-k through 5th grade including Art cooking Yoga Lego Building Science Homework Help Movement Spanish and more. Students are separated by age appropriate groupsPre K K 1st and 2nd and 3rd through 5th. All our students are in the continuous care of P.S.9 parents and PTA members as well as PS9 teachers. Each student may select one enrichment class to participate in daily. This facility is authorized to administer over-the-counter topical ointments only
