The Botanic Gardens Children’s Center is a private, non-profit corporation whose mission is to provide the highest quality care and education to children ages three months through 5 years. We cultivate learning, curiosity, creativity, community and sense of self.
Our highly qualified teachers partner with parents to provide a safe, joyful, and enriching environment for children. We are committed to providing ongoing professional development to our innovative teachers. Affiliated with Harvard University, we give priority to Harvard families in admissions; we also serve the community at large.

Every day at Botanic Gardens Children’s Center, children actively explore the world. They dip their hands into pebbles, study bubbles, plant seeds, paint with glitter, tell stories, or build structures with blocks. Activity periods provide a balance of free choice time, structured and focused projects introduced by teachers, small group meetings and whole group circle times. With the exception of extreme cold or wet weather, we go outside every morning and every afternoon.
