Band: Coyle’s Band meets twice a week on the stage in the MP Room. Students can begin taking band in the 4th grade and continue through the 6th grade. There are two student performances during the year. Inclusion: Students in the Visually Impaired Program are fully mainstreamed in the regular classroom with pull-out for work with the specialist. Students in the Emotionally Disturbed Program are mainstreamed when they are ready to enjoy working in the regular classroom. Students may be mainstreamed for Music Physical Education and one or more academic subjects depending on successful integration into the regular classroom. GATE: All teachers have received training in Differentiating Curriculum to meet the needs of GATE students.
