Mother's Morning Out

MMO provides childcare and early childhood education through both preschool and drop-in programs. The preschool is a loosely structured program that includes math, science, art, music, language arts and social skills. Preschool emphasizes hands-on activities in which children can explore and enrich their worlds. All preschool classes include a weekly music class. The drop-in program is unique in our community and boasts an excellent faculty who incorporate interesting learning experiences at each age level.

Preschool classes run from 9 a.m. to noon and are concurrent with the Unit 4 School calendar year. The drop-in gives parents the flexibility of dropping off and picking up their children at their own convenience between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and noon. All children enrolled in preschool are automatically enrolled in the drop-in.

Registration for all MMO classes takes place in March for classes that begin the following August. Because enrollment is limited, please contact the MMO office regarding openings in any of the classes.

MMO has served our community for more than 35 years and is licensed by DCFS. All teachers are DCFS certified and the student-teacher ratio is approximately 25% less than many other preschools.
