Chantilly Academy

Chantilly Academy offers a unique combination of academic excellence and individual attention; as well as athletic and extra-curricular diversity. Most importantly, we strive to meet individual needs in every area to the best of our ability. The primary objective is for each child to have A BALANCED BEGINNING.

Focusing on a particular theme or concept, experienced teachers plan an integrated curriculum of activities balancing emotional, social, physical and intellectual development. Both the curriculum and instruction are designed to build childrens self esteem, sense of competence and positive feelings towards learning.

Activities are structured to develop skills in the areas of creative expression (arts and crafts), music, language and concepts in math, science and perception. Prerequisite skills with age appropriate materials are also introduced to develop readiness for children entering kindergarten. Children participate in a daily gymnastics class which improves coordination, rhythm, balance and small/large muscle development. Field trips, puppet shows and guest speakers provide additional avenues for learning. In addition, we offer an extended day Lunch Bunch Program from 11:30-12:30 or 12:00-1:00 Monday-Friday for an additional fee.

It is our philosophy that the nurturing of a childs curiosity and eagerness to learn creates the foundation for a positive learning experience. We, at CHANTILLY ACADEMY, coordinate our efforts in the sincere attempt to encourage a childs enjoyment of learning and a satisfaction in their accomplishments.
