Preschool in Charlotte, NC 28213
Welcome to our fantastic preschool and child care center in Charlotte. My name is Freida Boulware and I have been the director at the West Sugar Creek location for over 25 years. Our school strives to create a safe, warm and loving environment for the children, parents, and teachers. We are a 4 STAR school that provides a quality learning environment for all the children from infants through school-age.
Being a contributing partner in this community is very important to us. We focus on building Community Awareness with our students and families. As part of our daily curriculum and during activities, we encourage the children to report news pertaining to our community. Our parent-s involvement and support in the classroom with the children and throughout the community has been a great success. A couple of activities we have done recently include the St. Jude Trike-a-Thon and the Susan Komen Walk for Breast Cancer.
Our Kindergarten Prep Academy (Kindergarten readiness program) operates on a full day, full year schedule for children ages 4-5 years old. Our Pre-k curriculum through HighReach Learning provides a unique balance of standards-based on class room support materials. Family connection components are easy to understand, and our parents look forward to their end of the year ceremony which is celebrated with our families, friends and community supporters.
During the summer, our Adventure Summer Camp offers many fun and educational activities which include River Bank Zoo, Discovery place and story time, featuring continuous reading at the library. We also have our just for fun trips such as the water park, Zumba and creative art projects as the children desire.
How do we keep these little minds learning all day and throughout the year? We provide onsite breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack to keep the children energized. The fun and excitement never ends.
I’m grateful every day for the opportunity to work with great teachers and have the opportunity to impact so many children and their families. Childcare Network provides the educational foundation for each child to be successful throughout life with quality curriculum and activities for every age group. We are affordable and work with our families to meet their needs, making us unlike any other child care provider in this area.
Give me a call or come by for a tour! I know you-ll find that we provide excellent care, the best educators in the area and a well-balanced curriculum for learning at every age! I look forward to meeting you and your family soon!

Testimonials
If you want your child to feel like they are at home then this is the place to take them to, the staff are friendly and the teachers take very good care of the children.
the staff their really cares about the children there.
Yes I would highly recommend a friend this particular childcare network # 54 , because they are like family to me and my daughter, when they saw my daugther as a new born for the fisrt time, they knew they wanted her to grow in thier daycare and she did until she was almost 2 years old. when I had to put her in another daycare due to convience they were heart broken, however we visit from time to time and being that my daughter also went to daycare with her first cousin it what really made it feel like a family network instead of a basic daycare. Daycare are where the heart of the staff grows with the parent and the child and I appreciate that so I would recommend a friend to this particular daycare #54. Love Ms. Daphne Baskins and all her grandkids
