The philosophy of PAL-A-ROO’S is to provide an environment that encourages children to achieve their full potential at their own pace in a supportive, confidence building and fun filled atmosphere that promotes physical, emotional, ethical, creative, intellectual and social growth. The program helps the child to develop positive self-esteem, self-discipline and independence while learning to respect the well being of others. Also, we attempt to instill a sense of responsibility and awareness of how the childs actions affect themselves and others as well as the world around them.
In addition, PAL-A-ROO’S recognizes that every child is unique and subsequently differences exist in the desire to learn, method of learning and in the ability to learn. Therefore, PAL-A-ROOS offers an environment that is stimulating, challenging and structured where the children can learn, explore, experiment and feel free to imagine and discover with a variety of materials.
We also seek to provide an environment which encourages social development and emphasizes making friends by sharing, taking turns, resolving conflicts and helping others.
Our qualified and experienced professional staff firmly believe that working with children is a special gift and indeed a very sacred task. Every effort will be made to be sensitive and responsive to the needs and interests of each child in an environment where there is acceptance, respect, caring and encouragement. PAL-A-ROOS has implemented a developmentally appropriate curriculum for each age group from infants through our pre-school program that is designed to ultimately prepare the child for Kindergarten. Each classroom has a written learning plan available upon request.
PAL-A-ROO’S firmly believes that our child care, pre-school and school age programs will enhance each childs love of learning and inherent curiosity by stimulating their ability to think both creatively and independently. The PAL-A-ROOS program reinforces the concept that education is a life-long process and that the ability to adapt to new situations and make new friendships is vital. Therefore children who attend PAL-A-ROOS are definitely:
