Preschool in Chatham, VA 24531
The Chatham Campus serves approximately 125 students. Students in preschool – grade 5 are part of our Lower School, and grades 6 – 8 are part of our Middle School of Carlisle School. The Chatham Campus (formerly Woodlawn Academy) was acquired by Carlisle School in the summer of 2010. The low student/faculty ratio of 1:7, comprehensive facilities, and picturesque campus setting provide the ideal environment for students to learn and explore.
In addition to the IB Primary Years Program (PYP) and the IB Middle Years Program (MYP), the Chatham campus offers students a wide variety of enrichment classes and extended day opportunities including a new science lab, computer lab, library, art, Spanish, Accelerated Reader program, karate, piano lessons, golf club, and Middle School Sports.
The Carlisle School Chatham Campus is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) and the Virginia Association of Independent Schools (VAIS). We are full members of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS), and fully recognized by the Virginia Board of Education.
