Clockwise Childcare is not a chain or a franchise. It is family owned and operated by Eric and Maria Burgese. I, Maria, have several years experience in the childcare industry. I started out doing at-home care for six children. When the children were old enough to move onto school, I worked for the Daycare Association of Montgomery County in Balacynwyd, PA. Finally, I worked at the Kinder Care Learning for 4 years as Assistant Director, Center Trainer and Kindergarten Teacher.
I have always wanted to own my own business, but it wasn’t until I started looking for childcare for my son, that I realized that this center was needed. I visited several centers and was very disappointed by what I saw. I am a firm believer now that the standards you set for your child when it comes to childcare, can never be too high. If I had no choice but to leave my son somewhere all day, besides home, it needed to feel warm and cozy inside. I thought at one point that I was being too picky, but when it came time to make a decision, I couldn’t do it. That is when I started preparing to open Clockwise. This center will incorporate everything that I would expect in a childcare center and more.

Our goal is to provide a high quality program and loving environment that supports parents needs, respects each child, builds character and encourages learning through exploration and self expression. Clockwise offers full time and part time day care as well as drop in, evening and weekend babysitting to accommodate parents busy schedules.
Outside, we have a very large play area in a park like setting. Inside, the center is cozy, just like home. Each classroom incorporates an age appropriate themed curriculum. We also have a movie theater style media room.
