Temple Beth Sholom Pre-School

Temple Beth Sholom, a member of the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, is a Conservative congregation and, as such, is committed to the perpetuation of Jewish tradition, law and practice. It is our hope and goal that all who pass through our doors, old and young alike, leave with a greater understanding and love of Judaism and a desire to live a Jewish life.

At the TBS Preschool, each child is a unique and valued member of the preschool family. Children learn that coming to school involves developing many skills including sharing, taking turns, using language to work through relationships with teachers and peers and following directions. Many of our projects incorporate learning Jewish values and celebrating holidays, and by working on these projects the children further develop cognitive skills. The child’s sense of excitement and learning is fostered through these processes while the child’s sense of wonder about the world is nurtured. Children integrate and expand what they have learned through play. Time to play is, therefore, an important part of our daily activities. Our graduates go off to elementary school primed to succeed.
Temple Beth Sholom Preschool is state licensed. Our teachers are trained and experienced early childhood educators. We are fortunate to have an outstanding teaching staff as well as music, computer, and gym specialists. We look forward to being partners with you in helping your children learn and grow.
