Mustard Seed Child Care Center is a Child Care, Pre-School, Nursery School and Kindergarten located in Chester, New Jersey. Our mission is to provide parents in the surrounding communities with a safe, nurturing and academically effective preschool for their children that is also Christian in faith. We are open year round to care and instruct children ages 2 1/2 to 6 years. The Mustard Seed Staff seeks to partner with you to help guide your child through their early spiritual, physical, emotional and intellectual growth and development within our loving, Christian environment.

As your child is emerging out of toddler-hood, they begin to exert more independence and show a love for learning.

We continue to be guided by the “Hands on Home Schooling” curriculum with the same highlights as or younger Lambs class but focusing on skills developmentally appropriate for 3-4 year olds.

Additionally, there is more "intentional learning through phonics, continued language development and process writing skills; which is guided by the “Handwriting Without Tears” curriculum. The HWT program focuses on letter learning by forming the straight-line letters first and then moving on to the more difficult to form letters. In this way, the children are continuing to develop fine motor skills, are able to recognize letters out of alphabetical order, and become more confident in their ability to write.

Each month we have a special event, or trip including, Apple picking, Harvest Feast, Christmas Celebration, Dad’s night, Easter Celebration, Farm field trip, and Mom’s Tea Party.
