Douglas-Tubman Child Development Center

Our mission is to provide services to individuals and their families through our Child Development Centers, Adult Training Centers, Recreation Programs, Early Intervention Programs and such other programs as we may adopt and implement for this purpose.

The Douglass-Tubman Youth Ministries has served the Austin community on Chicago’s far west side since 1991 by providing social, recreational and cultural programs and focusing on the needs of children and their families. Our Child Development Center currently serves 60 children ages 2 – 5 years. Parent education classes, family counseling and a food distributon program support the families of the children we serve.
