LYDIA Learn & Care (preschool program of LYDIA Home Association) is a full-day Christian preschool/day care that provides a safe and caring atmosphere for 36 children to develop intellectually, physically, spiritually, and emotionally.
Our thematic approach to learning is a fun way to encourage children to explore, discover, interact, and express themselves while they are being introduced to developmentally appropriate concepts in language, creative arts, science, math, music, social studies, and movement.
Our facilities include two large classrooms, a spacious outdoor playground area, and an indoor gym.
We are licensed by DCFS (Department of Children and Family Services) and accredited by the NAEYC (National Association of Education for Young Children). We have had the privilege of serving Chicago families for over 25 years.

We provide a safe environment to ease the concerns of working parents, an educational curriculum to prepare children for their academic futures, and a fun-loving atmosphere so that your child’s preschool years are full of memory-making experiences.
Each month we plan a special event to enhance the children’s learning opportunities. Our special events include: field trips to interesting sites around Chicago, presentations by visiting community representatives, and planned theme days (like a slumber party, parade, or a pretend vacation in the middle of winter).
