Philosophy
Early childhood is a time of rapid growth and development; a time when children must be free to discover, explore, experience and gain mastery of skills and knowledge in a safe, predictable and supportive environment.
Our program allows children to mature at their own rate to their unique abilities and interests by participating in a variety of developmentally appropriate indoor and outdoor, active and quiet, teacher-directed and child-initiated activities.
Experienced, well-trained staff provides a nurturing environment that promotes the development of positive self-esteem, self-direction and social interaction skills. Because our child development program serves as an extension of the family to the children during the hours parents work, the staff seeks to support the needs of the working parent. Our parent education and involvement program provides meaningful opportunities for parents to participate in center activities. Parents are encouraged to work closely with program staff to assist each child in achieving optimum growth, development and happiness.
