Nueces County Community Action Agency (NCCAA) is a private non-profit corporation created with the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964 to lead the battle of President Lyndon Johnsons War on Poverty. Our agency offers a wide variety of programs such as Community Services Weatherization Utility Assistance Housing Information and Referral Birth-to-Five Head Start and Healthy Marriage. NCCAAs Birth-to-Five Head Start Program serves over 1200 children and their families in Nueces County with education health disabilities mental health nutrition and family services.
